TFP Bureau, RAIPUR; July 13, 2024: Embracing the spirit of devotion and reverence for Lord Shri Ram, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and his cabinet members have embarked on a pilgrimage to Ayodhya Dham. The journey aims to seek blessings from ‘Bhancha Ram’, as affectionately known in Chhattisgarh, with a profound sense of Ram Kaaj and Ram Bhakti.
Accompanied by offerings of sweet berries and holy water from Mata Shabari’s sacred shrine in Shivrinarayan, Chhattisgarh, the Chief Minister and his delegation departed amidst chants of “Jai Shri Ram”.
Expressing his sentiments, Chief Minister Sai emphasized, “Our entire cabinet is here to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ram for the prosperity and happiness of our country and state.”
As part of the pilgrimage, Chief Minister Sai will present a diverse array of traditional Chhattisgarhi delicacies to Lord Shri Ram, including Vishnu Bhog rice, Sitaphal, specially crafted sweets like Airsa and Curry Laddoo. Additionally, garments made from local Kosa fabric will adorn the deity.
The gift plate curated by the Chief Minister symbolizes a spiritual homage to the Ram Katha, resonating deeply with the Lord’s historical connections to Chhattisgarh. Each offering, from Mata Shabari’s berries to the revered Vishnu Bhog rice, commemorates the divine presence of Lord Shri Ram in the state’s folklore and cultural heritage.
