Echoes of ‘Chhattisgarh ke Bhancha Ram, Jai Shri Ram’ resonate as state leaders pay homage

TFP Bureau Ayodhya; July 13, 2024:  Amidst reverberating chants of ‘Chhattisgarh ke Bhancha Ram, Jai Shri Ram’, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai and his cabinet members undertook a deeply spiritual journey to Ayodhya Dham, marking a significant pilgrimage to the historic Ram Mandir. This pilgrimage fulfilled a longstanding aspiration for the leaders, echoing the devout sentiments cherished by Mata Shabri herself in Shivrinarayan.

Chief Minister Sai, joined by his cabinet, presented offerings symbolizing the rich cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh to Lord Shri Ram. These included sweet berries and holy water from Mata Shabri’s land, Vishnu Bhog rice, Airsa, Curry Laddu, and garments made from Kosa fabric, reflecting the region’s traditional craftsmanship.

Expressing his sentiments, Chief Minister Sai articulated,

“Today is a momentous day in our lives as we have the blessed opportunity to behold the divine presence of Shri Ram at Ayodhya Dham. Our pilgrimage here signifies our deep reverence and devotion towards Lord Shri Ram, who holds a special place as the ‘Bhancha’ of Chhattisgarh.”

Reflecting on the significance of the gifts offered, Chief Minister Sai remarked, “We deliberated on what could be a fitting tribute to our beloved Lord Shri Ram. It became clear that nothing could be more auspicious than presenting the very berries from Mata Shabri’s land, where she lovingly offered them to Lord Shri Ram during his exile.”

Chief Minister Sai also highlighted Chhattisgarh’s historical connection with Lord Shri Ram, citing the state’s role as a cherished part of his forest exile and the deep affection he held for its tribal communities.

“Shri Ram’s ideals of ‘Ramrajya’ resonate deeply with us as we strive to uphold justice and prosperity in Chhattisgarh,” Chief Minister Sai affirmed. “Today, through our prayers and offerings, we seek blessings for the happiness and well-being of our state and its people.”

Accompanying Chief Minister Sai were Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma, along with several key ministers and officials, underscoring the collective reverence and unity in seeking the blessings of Lord Shri Ram for the prosperity of Chhattisgarh.

The pilgrimage not only reinforces spiritual ties but also celebrates Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural tapestry woven with the essence of devotion and heritage.
