TFP Bureau Raipur; July 15, 2024: The school admission festival is in full swing across Chhattisgarh, with newly admitted children being warmly welcomed with flowers, garlands, and sweets. Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap attended the festival at the district headquarters in Sukma, emphasizing the transformative power of education.
Addressing the gathering, Forest Minister Shri Kashyap stated, “Education is the medium of change in society. Only through education can we carve our future and achieve our goals.” During the event, he personally welcomed the newly admitted children by adorning them with flowers, garlands, and tilak.
Shri Kashyap highlighted the presence of prestigious higher education institutions like IIT, NIT, and IIM in the state. He noted that the state government has implemented a new education policy to ensure all children receive a quality education. He pointed out that these efforts have led to a significant reduction in school dropout rates in Sukma district. He congratulated and wished all the newly admitted children well, and distributed free textbooks and uniforms to them.
MP of Bastar Lok Sabha constituency, Shri Mahesh Kashyap, also spoke at the event, noting the district’s continuous progress. He credited government efforts for enabling local children to achieve success in various professional fields, including medicine and engineering. Shri Mahesh Kashyap, along with other public representatives, welcomed the school children with garlands and tilak.
The event was attended by senior administrative officers, public representatives, and a large number of students, all celebrating the importance of education and the opportunities it provides.
