TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 26, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has directed the organization of a “Public Problem Assistance Fortnight” from July 27 to August 10 across urban areas in the state. The initiative aims to address local issues through ward-wise camps set up in municipal corporations, municipalities, and other urban areas.
Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw has emphasized the importance of these camps, instructing military personnel and relief officers to attend and actively participate in resolving the issues faced by residents. He urged all public relations officers and local officials to ensure robust engagement during the fortnight.
The program, overseen by Dr. Basavaraju S., Secretary of the Endowment Administration and Development Department, will tackle a wide range of civic issues. These include services such as issuing tap certificates, ration cards, national family assistance, old age pensions, social security pensions, and various certificates including birth, death, building construction, and no-objection certificates. Additionally, the camps will address problems related to water supply, drainage issues, road paving, and street lighting.
The aim is to resolve both minor and significant public issues promptly and efficiently. The FIRD Administration Department has instructed its officers to ensure that camps are well-publicized and that adequate facilities, including payment services, are available to residents. Publicity efforts will focus on maximizing participation and ensuring that citizens benefit fully from the assistance provided.
