Chief Minister Launches ‘Every House Tricolor’ Program Amidst Public Enthusiasm

Janadarshan Program Witnesses Large Turnout Despite Rain; Immediate Resolutions and Aid Distribution Highlight Event

TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 8, 2024: A large number of citizens braved the rain to attend the Janadarshan program at the Chief Minister’s residence, where their concerns were heard and addressed on the spot. The event also marked the inauguration of the ‘Every House Tricolor’ program by Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, who distributed national flags to attendees, encouraging patriotic participation across Chhattisgarh.

During the program, the Chief Minister announced the disbursement of Rs 11 crore 41 lakh in aid to over 6,200 labor families under various Labor Department schemes. Symbolically, he handed over assistance to 12 beneficiaries. The event was attended by several senior officials, including the Chief Minister’s Secretary, Rahul Bhagat, and P. Dayanand.

The Mahtari Vandan Yojana, aimed at empowering women, was another focal point of the event. Beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister, stating that the scheme had significantly improved their lives. Many women shared their plans to celebrate Raksha Bandhan by buying gifts and sweets, made possible through the scheme’s support.

Chief Minister Sai also encouraged young athletes, Choosing Kumari and Ranjita Khalko of Raipur, who recently won bronze medals in mini golf at the 37th National Sports. The players are set to represent India in an international event in South Korea later this month.

Addressing various local issues, the Chief Minister directed officials to expedite the construction of a shed for mid-day meals at a school in Parasulidih village, Raipur. Farmers from Dongaria in Balodabazar district raised concerns about crop damage due to a chemical plant, prompting the Chief Minister to instruct officials to provide timely relief.

In a heartwarming gesture, the Chief Minister assured a compassionate appointment as a Raksha Bandhan gift to Sikha Agarwal of Bilaspur and Sidhaka Goswami of Bemetara district, who had sought his help.

Further, the Chief Minister ordered the Balod Collector to expedite compensation for land acquisition, ensuring relief for those affected by road construction projects. In another case, he directed the Health Department to arrange proper treatment for an 8-year-old boy suffering from a severe bladder condition, giving hope to a distressed family.

Finally, Sarpanch Smriti Janak Bai Sahu of Khapri Bi, Balod district, brought attention to the poor condition of the road from Iraguda to Payla. The Chief Minister promised swift action to repair the road and addressed other village concerns, assuring the people that their demands would be met.
