TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 16, 2024: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai unveiled the brochure for the ‘Swadeshi Mela’ at his residence office today. The Indian Marketing Development Center will organize the fair across various districts in Chhattisgarh from October 17, 2023, to March 9, 2025. The Chief Minister extended his best wishes to the organizing team for a successful event.
The fair, managed by the Indian Marketing Development Center—a unit of the Swadeshi Jagran Foundation—has been a staple in different districts of Chhattisgarh for the past two decades. Mr. Subrat Chaki, Manager of Swadeshi Mela, noted that the event supports Indian entrepreneurs by providing new business opportunities and boosting the visibility of rural enterprises, cottage industries, and both public and private sector enterprises.
This year’s ‘Swadeshi Mela’ schedule includes stops in Kabirdham from October 17 to October 23, Bilaspur from November 15 to November 21, Raipur from December 27, 2024, to January 3, 2025, Rajnandgaon from February 7 to February 13, 2025, and Jagdalpur from March 2 to March 9, 2025.
The launch event was attended by Dr. Rampratap Singh, State Coordinator Mr. Jagdish Patel, and other key figures including Mr. Gopal Krishna Agarwal, Mr. Praveen Maishri, Mrs. Sheela Sharma, Mr. Yugbodh Agarwal, Mr. Amar Bansal, Manager Mr. Subrat Chaki, Mr. Amarjeet Singh Chhabra, and various Swadeshi activists.
