Jain Guru and Legal Expert Discuss Values and Future of Hindu Temples

TFP Bureau, Raipur; August 25, 2024: The second Pushpa of the Smriti Vichar Mala, held at the Medical College Auditorium in Raipur, honored the memory of Late Kundan Lal Jain, a former Sanghchalak. The event, organized by the Kundan Lal Jain Smriti Vichar Manch, featured addresses by Jain Guru Pavan Nishara Virag Munishri and Supreme Court advocate Vishnu Shankar Ji Jain, with discussions centered on the “Renaissance of National Pride.”

Virag Munishri Ji, a prominent figure in the Jain community, spoke on the significance of non-violence as taught by Mahavir Swami, and the need for cultural revival. He criticized the British colonial strategy of undermining Indian education and culture, drawing parallels with contemporary issues. He emphasized the need to revive the values of Ramayana and strengthen national culture and language. Munishri underscored the choice between becoming a human or a devil, highlighting the importance of dedication and moral character.

Vishnu Shankar Ji Jain, a noted Supreme Court advocate, addressed the audience about ongoing legal and spiritual issues. He discussed the recent developments in the Gyanvapi and Krishna Janmabhoomi cases, suggesting that upcoming decisions may mirror the historical significance of the Ayodhya case. Jain stressed that the Supreme Court’s decisions would demonstrate the enduring power of the written word over conflict.

The event included a question-and-answer session, where attendees posed questions to the speakers. Regional Sanghchalak Dr. Purnendu Saxena introduced the program, praising Late Kundan Lal Jain for his commitment to unity and societal welfare. The program was conducted by Chandan Jain and concluded with a vote of thanks by Nandan Jain.
