TFP Bureau, Raipur; August 31, 2024: The Chhattisgarh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai, has launched the ‘Niyad Nellanar Yojana’ to improve access to essential services and welfare benefits in Maoist-affected regions. As part of this initiative, the Narayanpur district administration held its inaugural camp in the remote village of Mohandi, marking a significant milestone in the program’s rollout.

The scheme focuses on setting up 14 new security camps in areas affected by Maoist activity. These camps aim to serve villages within a five-kilometer radius, offering more than 25 basic services and 32 beneficiary-oriented schemes to local residents.

In the Orchha Development Block of Narayanpur district, a revenue camp was organized in Mohandi, a village under the Kutul Gram Panchayat. The camp received an overwhelming response from villagers and facilitated the issuance and application of essential documents such as caste certificates, residence certificates, income certificates, birth certificates, death certificates, and documents for the old-age pension scheme. During the camp, officials processed 12 caste certificates, 15 residence certificates, 12 income certificates, 16 birth certificates, and 26 Aadhaar card applications. Additionally, 16 birth certificates, one death certificate, and three old-age pension certificates were issued on the spot.

Local representatives and district administration officials attended the camp, reflecting the government’s commitment to extending the benefits of its schemes to the most vulnerable populations in Maoist-affected areas. The ‘Niyad Nellanar Yojana’ is seen as a crucial step towards bringing much-needed services and support to residents in these remote forest regions, marking a positive change in their lives.
