TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 5, 2024: In line with Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai’s vision to strengthen road infrastructure in Chhattisgarh, the state government has approved a series of development projects aimed at improving connectivity in Jashpur and Pathalgaon. The Public Works Department has sanctioned road construction projects totaling approximately Rs 17 crore for the region.
Among the approved projects is a Rs 3.39 crore allocation for the construction of a 2.36 km road from Chandidand Hatta to Halkatoli in Jashpur. In Pathalgaon, Rs 7.98 crore has been allocated for the construction of an 8.70 km stretch of the Bagiya-Sujibahar road. Additionally, Rs 4.3 crore has been approved for the development of a 4 km road from Babusabhar to Golidih river, and Rs 3.36 crore will be used to construct a 1.20 km road from Karanjatoli to Rajouti in Kansabel development block.
These infrastructure projects are part of the state government’s broader initiative to boost the local economy by improving road networks, ensuring better access to main routes, and facilitating smoother transportation for rural communities.
Since taking office just nine months ago, Chief Minister Shri Sai’s administration has rolled out a comprehensive development blueprint for the state. In addition to road construction, key initiatives include building schools and hostels, upgrading irrigation systems, developing reservoirs and ponds, improving healthcare facilities, and enhancing essential infrastructure across the region.
