Chhattisgarh Government Announces Holiday Schedule for Educational Institutions for 2024-25

State schools to observe 64 holidays, including extended breaks for Dussehra, Diwali, and summer vacation

TFP Bureau, Raipur; September 13, 2024: The Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) of Chhattisgarh has officially released the holiday schedule for educational institutions across the state for the 2024-25 academic year. In its announcement, the DPI outlined a total of 64 holidays for the upcoming session, ensuring that students and staff can plan ahead for the academic year.

The major holidays include a 6-day break for Dussehra from October 7 to October 12, 2024, followed by a 6-day Diwali holiday from October 28 to November 2, 2024. The winter break is set for December 23 to December 28, 2024, also lasting six days. Schools will close for the extended summer vacation from May 1 to June 15, 2025, giving students a 46-day break.

This comprehensive holiday schedule will help institutions prepare for the academic year and allow families to plan their activities around the state-mandated school breaks.
