TFP Bureau, Raipur; September 25, 2024: Chhattisgarh has secured the fifth position among states with the lowest unemployment rate in the country, a significant achievement attributed to the state government’s focused efforts on employment generation, according to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai.
In response to a recent survey conducted by the National Sample Survey Organization (NSSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, CM Sai expressed his pride in the state’s achievement, stating, “It is a matter of great satisfaction that Chhattisgarh ranks fifth among states with the lowest unemployment rate in India. This accomplishment reflects the concrete steps taken by the government to boost employment opportunities.”
He further highlighted that the government’s various initiatives, particularly in rural and tribal areas, have helped create both employment and self-employment opportunities for the youth. “Chhattisgarh has outperformed even larger states, demonstrating our success in tackling unemployment. This is a proud moment for our state, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all the people of Chhattisgarh,” CM Sai added.
