TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 26, 2024: The Chhattisgarh government has unveiled plans to create approximately 3,500 new government job openings, presenting a remarkable opportunity for the state’s youth. The recruitment process is now underway across various departments, aiming to provide stable employment for candidates eager to build their futures.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai underscored the government’s dedication to enhancing job prospects and improving the livelihoods of residents. As departments gear up to fill these vacancies, this initiative is expected to bolster the state’s development and empower its young population.
In line with Chief Minister Sai’s vision, the Finance Department has approved the recruitment of 3,474 posts spanning eight different departments. Departments are actively preparing for the recruitment process, from proposal drafting to securing necessary government approvals, with a commitment to ensure smooth and uninterrupted hiring.
The new openings encompass a variety of departments, including the Health Department, Public Health Engineering Department, Agriculture Department, Rural Livelihood Mission, Home Department, Law Department, Tribal Welfare Department, and the Forest and Environment Department, all of which are advancing their recruitment processes following approval from the Finance Department.
Demonstrating a commitment to education and employment, Chief Minister Sai has also announced a five-year relaxation in the maximum age limit for various government recruitments, including positions within the Police Department.
Specifically, the Finance Department has sanctioned the recruitment of 181 posts in the Public Health Engineering Department, including 118 Deputy Engineer (Civil) positions and 10 Deputy Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) roles. The Home Department has received approval for 806 posts, comprising Subedar, Deputy Police Inspector, and Platoon Commander positions. Furthermore, the Health Department is progressing with the hiring of 1,201 professionals, including Medical Officers, Ayurveda Medical Officers, and Staff Nurses.
Additional recruitment efforts are ongoing for Assistant Marshals in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly, as well as 300 Hostel Superintendent roles in the Tribal Welfare Department. The Forest Department is set to fill 66 positions across various cadres, including Forest Guards. Meanwhile, the Panchayat and Rural Development Department has opened recruitment for 237 roles across different levels, while the Law Department seeks to hire 362 individuals, including Civil Judges. The Agriculture Department is also in the process of recruiting 321 Rural Agriculture Extension Officers.
