Maharaja Agrasen Promoted Equality and Brotherhood, Says Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai

Chief Minister Attends Bhagwan Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav-2024

TFP Bureau, Raipur;  October 3, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai participated in the Bhagwan Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti Mahotsav-2024 held at Shri Agrasen Dham in Raipur. During the event, he praised Maharaja Agrasen for his role in promoting social equality and brotherhood. The Chief Minister also inaugurated the second floor of Shri Agrasen Dham in celebration of Agrasen Jayanti.

Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Sai extended his best wishes for both Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti and the Navratri festival. He commended the Agrawal community for its significant contributions across various sectors, including education, business, and social service. “The Agrawal community has consistently led in all fields, making remarkable contributions to society,” he said.

The Chief Minister emphasized that a society progresses through a balance of cultural values and economic strength, principles championed by Maharaja Agrasen. “Maharaja Agrasen taught us the importance of trade, economic development, and creating equal opportunities for all sections of society,” Sai said. He lauded the Agrawal community for following these ideals and playing a crucial role in the nation’s economic development.

Reflecting on his own experiences, Chief Minister Sai expressed gratitude for his close interactions with the Agrawal community during his public life. He acknowledged their philanthropic efforts, noting the community’s contributions to building schools, hospitals, and other public welfare initiatives.

Highlighting the government’s focus on industrial growth, Sai urged the Agrawal community to actively contribute to the development of industries in Chhattisgarh. He emphasized that the state’s new industrial policy provides maximum support to industries, encouraging employment generation and skill development for youth through a single-window system.

The event also saw MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal speaking on the Agrawal community’s role in India’s progress, particularly its dedication to preserving religious and family values. He stressed the importance of social service and passing on traditional values to future generations.

The Chief Minister honored distinguished members of the Agrawal community for their achievements in various fields and released a biography of Maharaja Agrasen during the program. Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal, Basna MLA Shri Sampat Agarwal, and other prominent figures from the Agrawal community were in attendance.
