Kanya Pujan Tradition Highlights Navratri’s Spiritual Significance
Navratri, a festival dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, sees nine days of devotion, with the phase of Kanya Pujan starting from Saptami Tithi. On Ashtami and Navami, young unmarried girls are honored as the living embodiments of the nine goddesses. Feeding these girls during Navratri is considered a virtuous act that brings blessings to those who partake in the ritual.
Also attending the Kanya Bhoj were Mungeli MLA Punnulal Mohle, Collector Rahul Dev, Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel, Forest Divisional Officer Sanjay Yadav, and Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat Prabhakar Pandey.
