TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 1, 2024: In a grand celebration of Chhattisgarh’s 24th Foundation Day, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai joined citizens at Ekatma Path in Nava Raipur, where 11,000 diyas (earthen lamps) were lit in a spectacular display. The ceremonial lighting, accompanied by Vedic chants and rituals, filled the area with a warm glow, symbolizing the state’s unity and cultural heritage.
The Foundation Day event, which doubled as a Diwali celebration, featured vibrant fireworks and colorful lights that captivated attendees. The festivities included music that set a festive ambiance and elaborate rangoli designs, with selfie points placed around symbolic markers to allow visitors to capture moments of joy.
Chief Minister Sai took the opportunity to recognize and honor the contributions of laborers and sanitation workers in the state. In a gesture of gratitude, sweets were distributed to these workers near the new CBD railway station in Nava Raipur, celebrating their essential role in the community.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Sao, along with MLAs Shri Purandar Mishra, Shri Motilal Sahu, Guru Shri Khushwant Saheb, Shri Indra Kumar Sahu, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, and other public representatives and senior officials, joined the Chief Minister at the event, adding to the atmosphere of unity and pride in Chhattisgarh’s progress.
