Chief Minister Unveils Logo and Mascot for Bastar Olympics 2024

Pahari Maina and Forest Buffalo chosen as symbols of Bastar’s culture and commitment to wildlife conservation

TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 2, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai unveiled the logo and mascots for the upcoming Bastar Olympics 2024, celebrating the unique culture and heritage of Bastar. The logo, designed to reflect the traditions of the region, was introduced alongside the mascots — Pahari Maina, a symbol of Bastar’s avian diversity, and the Forest Buffalo, representing the strength and spirit of local wildlife.

The mascots emphasize a dedication to wildlife conservation, symbolizing Bastar’s deep connection with nature. Chief Minister Sai expressed his best wishes for the success of the Bastar Olympics and underscored the importance of the event in promoting regional pride and environmental awareness.

The unveiling ceremony was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw, Shri Vijay Sharma, and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Shri Tankaram Verma, along with other dignitaries.
