TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 2, 2024: Preparations are in full swing for the Chhattisgarh State Foundation Day Rajyotsav 2024, set to take place from November 4 to 6 at Rajyotsav Sthal in Naya Raipur Atal Nagar. The event promises to be a grand showcase of the state’s culture, achievements, and government initiatives, with extensive decorations underway across the venue.
The inaugural ceremony on November 4 at 6 PM will be graced by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, with Chhattisgarh’s Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai presiding over the event. The program will also feature Chhattisgarh Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh as a special guest. Following the inauguration, the Rajyotsav will continue with various activities, culminating in the State Decoration Ceremony on November 6, which will be attended by Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar.
A host of dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Ministers, state ministers, and MLAs, are expected to participate in the celebrations, highlighting the significance of the occasion.
The three-day event will feature vibrant cultural performances, with renowned artists taking the stage. Cultural festivities will commence at 4:30 PM on November 4, featuring various folk dances and performances, including a special appearance by Bollywood playback singer Shantun Mukherjee at 7:45 PM. Subsequent days will include performances by local talents and well-known artists, offering a rich blend of traditional and contemporary entertainment.
In addition to the cultural showcases, all Chhattisgarh government departments will set up exhibition stalls at the Rajyotsav site, promoting their schemes and achievements. A Shilp Gram will be established, highlighting the diverse crafts of Chhattisgarh, while large exhibition hangars will accommodate displays from public sector institutions and commercial entities.
With attractions such as a Food Court and Meena Bazaar, the Rajyotsav is poised to draw significant public interest, celebrating the state’s heritage and fostering community engagement as Chhattisgarh marks its foundation day.
