TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 4, 2024: In a warm reception at his residence, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, who is in the state as the Chief Guest for the 24th Rajyotsav, celebrating Chhattisgarh’s Foundation Day. The leaders exchanged congratulations, with Dr. Yadav offering his best wishes to Chief Minister Sai on this significant occasion.
During the inaugural ceremony of the three-day Rajyotsav, CM Yadav praised the achievements of Chhattisgarh under the leadership of CM Sai and highlighted the efforts of the “double-engine” governments in driving development in both states. He commended the state’s ongoing campaign against Maoist activities and emphasized the importance of preserving the shared cultural heritage of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
“Both states have a common culture and thoughts, which is reflected in our public welfare schemes,” said Dr. Yadav. He expressed his belief that the region, with its rich history tied to figures like Lord Ram, is on a path of rapid development and progress.
CM Vishnu Deo Sai acknowledged the foundation laid by previous administrations and reiterated his government’s commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the citizens in just ten months of governance. He emphasized that initiatives like the Mahtari Vandan Yojana and support for paddy procurement demonstrate the government’s dedication to the welfare of the people.
The Rajyotsav celebrations not only mark Chhattisgarh’s 25th anniversary but also reinforce the bond between the two states, described by CM Sai as akin to that of “real brothers.” He expressed hope for continued collaboration and mutual development.
