TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 5, 2024: The second day of Rajyotsav celebrations was filled with enchanting music and dance as folk artists and Bollywood playback singer Neeti Mohan captivated the audience with mesmerizing performances. The event showcased the cultural richness of Chhattisgarh, blending traditional folk melodies with popular Bollywood tunes, bringing joy and energy to the crowd celebrating State Formation Day.
The evening began with the soulful “Gaura-Gauri” song, setting a reverent tone before transitioning to a colorful array of traditional Chhattisgarhi folk songs. Artists Aaru Sahu and Rajesh Awasthi won over the audience with their rendition of Dadaria songs, especially with the popular tune “Batki Ma Basi, Chutki Ma Noon,” which evoked applause and excitement from the packed crowd. Their lively performance spread a vibrant wave of folk culture across the Rajyotsav grounds.
Following this, the stage lit up with the spirited Raut Nacha dance, infusing the festival with high energy and traditional Chhattisgarhi rhythm. The venue pulsed with the sounds of “Mukh Murli Bajaye,” and the quick-paced Panthi dance left the audience in awe, celebrating the state’s dynamic cultural heritage.
The evening reached its peak as Bollywood singer Neeti Mohan took the stage, greeting the audience with a heartfelt “Jai Johar.” Her soulful renditions of “Chali Re Junoon Ka Liye Katra” and “Jiya Re Jiya Re” filled the air, seamlessly blending Bollywood’s musical flavor with the essence of the Rajyotsav festivities.
