Dipanshu Kabra Appointed ADG of Ajak & Training; Anand Chhabra Takes Charge as IG Training in Chhattisgarh

In a recent reshuffle, senior IPS officers in Chhattisgarh are assigned key roles to enhance police training and services

TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 9, 2024: In a major reshuffle aimed at strengthening police operations and training in Chhattisgarh, the state government has reassigned several senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. Notably, Dipanshu Vijay Kabra (IPS-1997) has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (ADG) for Ajak & Training at the Police Headquarters in Nava Raipur. Kabra, who previously held the role of ADG at the Police Headquarters, brings years of expertise in law enforcement to his new position overseeing key training and social justice initiatives.

In addition, Dr. Anand Chhabra (IPS-2001) has been posted as the Inspector General of Police (IG) for Training, also at the Police Headquarters in Nava Raipur. Chhabra’s extensive experience in police administration will be instrumental in shaping training programs that support the evolving needs of the police force in the state.

Other officers included in the transfer order are Dhruv Gupta (IPS-2005), now posted as Inspector General of Police for CCTNS/SCRB, and Arvind Kujur (IPS-2010), who takes on the role of Deputy Inspector General of Police, CAF.

This reshuffling, ordered in the name of the Governor of Chhattisgarh, is aimed at enhancing the police department’s operational capabilities and ensuring efficient administration across various units. Here is the transfer order..
