TFP Bureau, Raipur, November 13, 2024: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will unveil Chhattisgarh’s new Industrial Development Policy 2024-30 in a ceremony on November 14 at the Mayfair Lake Resort in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar. The event, scheduled for 6:30 pm, will be presided over by Industry Minister Shri Lakhan Lal Dewangan, with Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Arun Sao and Shri Vijay Sharma attending as special guests.
A host of cabinet ministers, including Agriculture Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, Food Minister Shri Dayal Das Baghel, Forest and Climate Change Minister Shri Kedar Kashyap, and Finance Minister Shri O.P. Choudhary, will also be present. Leader of the Opposition, Dr. Charandas Mahant, will join the program as a special guest.
The new industrial policy, approved on October 28 in a cabinet meeting led by Chief Minister Sai, sets forth a comprehensive roadmap to boost industrial development and enhance economic growth in Chhattisgarh. The policy aligns with the Government of India’s Vision 2047, aiming to make the state a major hub for industry and commerce.
Developed by the Department of Industries, the policy was shaped through extensive consultations with stakeholders, industrial groups, and relevant departments. Key provisions focus on fostering a conducive environment for business growth, promoting investment, and supporting sustainable development.
The upcoming release is expected to shed light on Chhattisgarh’s ambitious strategies to attract investments, create jobs, and strengthen its position in the national industrial landscape.
