TFP Bureau, Raipur, December 25, 2024:  Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today delivered an inspiring address at the Atal Good Governance Ceremony held in Saliatoli, Kunkuri, on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna, former Prime Minister late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The ceremony marked the centenary year of Atal ji’s birth, and Chief Minister Sai emphasized that this year is being celebrated as “Atal Nirman Varsh,” a tribute to the visionary leader’s enduring impact on Chhattisgarh.

Reflecting on the history and achievements of the state, Chief Minister Sai remarked that the formation of Chhattisgarh as the 26th state of India was the result of Atal ji’s foresight and determination. “Atal ji not only fulfilled his promises to the people of Chhattisgarh but also supported the state’s development in every possible way,” he said. “We are committed to shaping Chhattisgarh in line with the ideals of good governance that Atal ji laid out.”

Emphasizing the state’s progress under digital governance, Shri Sai highlighted innovations such as the Atal Monitoring App, Single Window System 2.0, e-Office, Sugam App, and Sangwari App. These digital tools, he said, have enhanced transparency and efficiency in administration. Additionally, the Chief Minister praised the state’s paddy procurement model, which provides farmers with the highest prices for their crops, fulfilling Atal ji’s commitment to agricultural welfare.

Chief Minister Sai also discussed the state’s focus on women empowerment, with 70 lakh mothers and sisters receiving direct financial support of Rs 1,000 per month. On security, he outlined significant gains in the fight against Maoism, with the insurgents now largely driven out from their strongholds, opening new pathways for development in Bastar.

In his address, the Chief Minister set ambitious targets for the future, including an investment goal of Rs 2.5 lakh crore under the new industrial policy, which is expected to generate five lakh new jobs.

Key Announcements and Community Support

During the ceremony, Shri Sai made several important announcements for Jashpur district, including the construction of an auditorium in Kunkuri and Jashpur, a Rs 5 crore development fund for Kunkuri, and Rs 20 lakh for the development of the Kunkuri indoor stadium.
