State Congress President Deepak Baij described Dr. Manmohan Singh as a true patriot whose intelligence and leadership transformed India.

“Dr. Manmohan Singh provided unforgettable service to the country and the world. Under his guidance, India achieved economic progress and stood on par with developed nations. His initiatives, such as the Aadhaar card, Right to Information Act, land acquisition law, and MNREGA, empowered the common man. His loss is an irreparable setback for India, its politics, and the Congress party,” Baij said.

Other senior Congress leaders, including Dhanendra Sahu, Satyanarayan Sharma, Tamradhwaj Sahu, and Chhaya Verma, also highlighted his legacy as an economist, policymaker, and statesman. They emphasized his efforts to promote social welfare, education, and transparency, which continue to impact millions of lives.

The meeting was attended by prominent leaders such as Amitesh Shukla, Jaisingh Agarwal, Gurumukh Singh Hora, and numerous Congress office-bearers and members, who shared their memories of the late leader and reaffirmed their commitment to his vision for India.
