TFP Bureau, Nava Raipur, January 3, 2025: The Chhattisgarh Government has established an inter-departmental committee to address concerns raised by B.Ed. trained assistant teachers, following the directives of the Honorable High Court of Bilaspur. This move comes after the court’s order dated April 2, 2024, which urged the state government to review the representations submitted by the teachers and provide suitable recommendations.
The committee, comprising top state officials, has been tasked with examining the issues presented by the B.Ed. trained assistant teachers and suggesting actionable measures to the government.
Composition of the Committee:
1. Chief Secretary, Government of Chhattisgarh– Chairperson
2. Principal Secretary, Law Department – Member
3. Secretary, School Education Department – Member Secretary
4. Secretary, Finance Department – Member
5. Secretary, General Administration Department– Member
This initiative reflects the government’s commitment to resolving the grievances of teaching professionals while adhering to the High Court’s guidance. The committee is expected to thoroughly analyze the situation and present recommendations aimed at addressing the challenges faced by the teachers.
The order was issued by the Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department, Ms. Anshika Rishi Pandey, under the authority of the Governor of Chhattisgarh.
