TFP Bureau, Raipur, January 17, 2025: In a significant step to enhance healthcare services in Chhattisgarh, the state government has issued appointment orders for 5 specialist doctors and 15 medical officers under the National Health Mission (NHM). The appointments, made on contract basis, aim to address the shortage of medical staff and ensure efficient delivery of health services across rural and urban areas.
The initiative, driven by Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai and executed under the guidance of Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, places these medical professionals in primary health centers (PHCs), community health centers (CHCs), and district hospitals across various divisions of the state.
According to Health Minister Jaiswal, 3 medical officers have been appointed in Raipur division, 6 in Bilaspur, 2 in Surguja, 1 in Bastar, and 3 in Durg division. These postings are expected to accelerate healthcare delivery and improve medical facilities in underserved areas.
For specialist doctors, the following appointments were made:
-Dr. P. Sudhakar, Dr. Rahul Manikrao Rathore, Dr. Samiranandan Reddy C., and Dr. V. Amarinder were posted at District Hospital Bijapur.
-Dr. Samir Rajak was posted at District Hospital Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai.
The medical officers appointed include:
-Raipur Division: Dr. Dinendra Pradhan, Dr. Sakshi Nayak, and Dr. Jasmine Chawla.
-Bilaspur Division: Dr. Virendra Kumar Sarwa, Dr. Vishal Kumar Kesar, Dr. Upasana Sahu, Dr. Zeenat Sheikh, Dr. Nishi Nirmal, and Dr. Saurav Vishwas.
-Surguja Division: Dr. Aastha Jaiswal and Dr. Preeti Kushwaha.
-Durg Division: Dr. Akash Sahu, Dr. Sameeksha Dakaliy, and Dr. Swati Mishra.
-Bastar Division:Dr. M. Ramakrishna Madarapu.
The appointments are part of the state’s ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare infrastructure and ensure accessible medical services for all. By prioritizing rural and underserved regions, the government aims to bridge gaps in healthcare delivery and provide timely treatment to residents.
