TFP Bureau, Raipur, 1 February 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai today lauded the Union Budget 2025-26 as a “document of India’s golden future” and one of the most historic budgets in the nation’s post-independence era. Reacting to the budget presented in Parliament, the Chief Minister underscored that the comprehensive measures announced are a testament to Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to uplifting those often overlooked by society.
Shri Sai asserted that the budget’s visionary provisions are designed to benefit every section of the country. “This budget has once again fulfilled the promise of Modi ji—that those who are not asked by anyone, Modi ji worships them,” he said. Praising the government’s decision to raise the tax exemption threshold from ₹2 lakh to ₹12 lakh, he emphasized that this move will provide significant relief to the middle class and working families, strengthening the economic foundation for future growth.
Boosting Agriculture
Highlighting the revolutionary steps for the farming community, the Chief Minister noted several pivotal policies. Among these are measures to enhance agricultural productivity, achieve self-reliance in pulses, establish urea factories, and raise the limit of the Kisan Credit Card from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh. “These initiatives will prove to be a milestone in the progress of our farmers,” Shri Sai remarked.
Revitalizing Trade, Industry, and Employment
The budget also emphasizes bolstering trade and industry, with ambitious plans to create a surge in job opportunities. Key measures include increasing the MSME loan limit from ₹5 crore to ₹10 crore, earmarking ₹10,000 crore for startups, and launching the Make for World campaign alongside Make in India. Additional initiatives—such as a leather scheme benefiting 22 lakh workers and social security provisions for one crore workers—are expected to invigorate the manufacturing sector and offer substantial employment prospects for the nation’s youth.
Enhancing Healthcare and Infrastructure
In the health sector, the government has granted full tax exemption on life-saving medicines for cancer and other serious diseases, and plans are underway to build 200 new cancer care units. Infrastructure development is set to receive a significant boost with an allocation of ₹1.5 lakh crore to states and ₹1 lakh crore for urban development. Furthermore, the budget includes provisions for loan facilities of up to ₹5 lakh for tribal and Dalit women, underscoring its inclusive vision.
A Comprehensive Vision for Development
Shri Vishnu Dev Sai concluded by declaring that the budget is dedicated to the country’s farmers, youth, and women, promising to strengthen India’s infrastructure, spur investment, and drive manufacturing growth. “This is a budget to strengthen the economic condition of India, to create new employment opportunities, and to make our country a global leader,” he said.
The Chief Minister’s remarks reflect a confident endorsement of the budget’s transformative potential, positioning it as a critical step toward realizing a prosperous and inclusive future for India.
