PM Modi to Visit Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on February 5

Will take a holy dip at Sangam and offer prayers to Maa Ganga

TFP Bureau, New Delhi, February 4, 2025: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on February 5. At around 11 AM, he is scheduled to take a holy dip at the Sangam and offer prayers to Maa Ganga.

Mahakumbh 2025, which began on Paush Purnima (January 13), is the world’s largest spiritual and cultural gathering, drawing millions of devotees from around the globe. The grand event will continue until Mahashivratri on February 26.

Aligned with his vision to preserve and promote India’s spiritual and cultural heritage, Prime Minister Modi has taken significant steps to enhance infrastructure and facilities at pilgrimage sites. During his last visit to Prayagraj on December 13, 2024, he inaugurated 167 development projects worth ₹5,500 crore, aimed at improving connectivity, amenities, and public services for pilgrims.

The Prime Minister’s participation in Maha Kumbh 2025 underscores the significance of the event in India’s cultural and religious fabric, highlighting its global spiritual appeal.
