Mr. Gautam Adani and Mrs. Priti Adani with Newly Wed
TFP Bureau, Ahmedabad, February 7, 2025: Industrialist Gautam Adani marked the wedding of his younger son, Jeet Adani, not with grand celebrations but with a remarkable act of philanthropy. True to his earlier commitment of keeping the wedding “simple and traditional,” Adani donated ₹10,000 crore towards social welfare initiatives, focusing on healthcare, education, and skill development.
Adani’s donation aligns with his belief that “Seva Sadhna Hai, Seva Prarthana Hai, and Seva Hi Parmatma Hai” (Service is devotion, service is prayer, and service is divine). A significant portion of the funds will be directed towards building world-class yet affordable hospitals, medical colleges, K-12 schools, and global skill academies aimed at enhancing employability across all sections of society.

The wedding of Jeet Adani and Diva, daughter of diamond businessman Jaimin Shah, took place at Belvedere Club in Adani Shantigram Township, Ahmedabad. The intimate ceremony followed traditional Gujarati rituals, attended only by close family and friends. No political leaders, film stars, or business tycoons were present.
Announcing the wedding on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Gautam Adani referred to his daughter-in-law as “Beti Diva” and expressed gratitude for the blessings of well-wishers. “With the blessings of Almighty God, Jeet and Diva tied the knot today in a small and private ceremony. We could not invite everyone, for which I apologize. I sincerely seek your love and blessings for daughter Diva and Jeet,” he wrote.

Jeet Adani, currently the director of Adani Airports, oversees the management of six international airports and the upcoming Navi Mumbai airport. He is an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
Gautam Adani’s decision to mark the occasion with a large-scale philanthropic contribution rather than a lavish wedding reinforces his commitment to social development, setting a precedent for corporate responsibility in India.
