
TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 9, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has congratulated Nisha Yadav, a mountaineering prodigy from Chhattisgarh, for her remarkable achievement of hoisting the Indian tricolor atop Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak at 5,895 meters. CM Sai hailed Nisha’s success as a symbol of unshakable determination and hard work, stating, “Her achievement is an inspiration for countless young minds across the nation, showing that no summit is too high to reach with perseverance.”
Pride for Chhattisgarh: A Historic Milestone
Expressing immense pride, CM Sai described Nisha’s triumph as a historic moment for Chhattisgarh. “This success is not just personal—it is an honor for the entire state. Nisha’s accomplishment has elevated Chhattisgarh’s flag on the world stage,” he said. He also reminisced about his earlier meeting with Nisha in Bilaspur, where he had provided financial support of ₹3.45 lakh to assist her in pursuing her dream. “Today, as she triumphantly hoists the tricolor atop Kilimanjaro, it stands as proof that with determination and proper support, dreams can come true,” he added.

CM Sai highlighted Nisha’s remarkable journey, pointing out the challenges she faced growing up in a modest family in Bilaspur, with her father working as an auto driver. Despite financial hurdles, Nisha’s passion for mountaineering never wavered. “Her achievement is a beacon of hope, especially for young girls, showing that perseverance and dedication can overcome any barrier,” the CM said.
