TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 11, 2025: As the Urban Local Body Elections for the Raipur Municipal Corporation Mayor and Ward Councillor positions unfold, key state officials have come forward to cast their votes and encourage citizens to actively engage in the democratic process.
State Election Commissioner Shri Ajay Singh, accompanied by his family, cast his vote today and called on the people of Raipur to strengthen democracy through active participation in the elections. He emphasized the importance of exercising one’s voting right in shaping the future of the city.
Similarly, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain voted at the Devendra Nagar polling station, underscoring that every vote plays a crucial role in building a more representative democracy. He urged all eligible voters to contribute to the development of the city and the state by casting their ballots.

Shri P. Dayanand, Secretary to the Chief Minister, also participated in the voting process at the same polling center. After casting his vote, he made a special appeal to young and first-time voters, encouraging them to take part in the election as a vital step towards strengthening democracy.
