Chhattisgarh Government Announces Key Administrative Transfers

Senior Officials Assigned New Roles Across Various Departments

TFP Bureau, Nava Raipur, March 5, 2025: The Chhattisgarh government has issued a new administrative order transferring several senior officials to key positions across different departments. According to the official notification from the General Administration Department, the following changes have been made:

  1. Akhilesh Singh (IAS, 2012) – Previously serving as Special Secretary, Home, Jail, and Medical Education Department, along with additional charge as Secretary, Public Service Commission, he has been appointed as Collector, Durg district, until further orders.

  2. Abhinash Mishra (IAS, 2018) – Currently Commissioner, Raipur Municipal Corporation, and additional charge as CEO, Smart City Raipur, he has been assigned as Collector, Dhamtari district.

  3. Rena Jamil (IAS, 2019) – Deputy Secretary, Commerce and Industry Department, has been given additional charge as Secretary, Public Service Commission.

  4. Vishwadeep (IAS, 2019) – Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Raipur, has been assigned as Commissioner, Raipur Municipal Corporation, along with additional charge as CEO, Smart City Raipur.

  5. Kumar Vishwarchan (IAS, 2020) – Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, BISWAS, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat Raipur.

The order, issued in the name of the Governor of Chhattisgarh, was signed by Anvesh Gugloth, Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department. These transfers are expected to streamline administrative efficiency and strengthen governance in the respective districts.
