
TFP Bureau, Raipur, March 9, 2025: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a grand event titled ‘Mahatari Vandan Abhinandan’ was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur. The event saw Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai honor over 60 women journalists for their outstanding contributions to the field of journalism, while reaffirming the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment.
Chief Minister’s Address: Strengthening Women’s Role in Society
In his address, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai emphasized the pivotal role of women as the backbone of society. He reiterated the Chhattisgarh government’s continuous efforts to empower women, making them self-reliant and capable in all fields. “Women are scaling new heights in every sector, and the government ensures they receive equal rights and security,” he said.
Shri Sai highlighted that women’s involvement is critical not only in family and societal progress but also in the nation’s growth, spanning economic, social, and political domains.
