Congress declares State Election Committee for Chhattisgarh assembly elections 2023

TFP Bureau Raipur; Jul 24, 2023: Congress President approves formation of State Election Committee for upcoming Chhattisgarh assembly elections in 2023.

The proposal for the formation of the State Election Committee for the upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh has been approved by the Congress President with immediate effect.

The State Congress Executive held an extended meeting at Rajiv Bhavan on Sunday to gather feedback from the office bearers. Several prominent leaders such as Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, State Incharge Kumari Selja, State President Deepak Baij, Minister Mohan Markam, Minister Kawasi Lakhma, and other senior leaders were present for the meeting.

During the meeting, the leaders engaged in discussions and took feedback from the office bearers. Dr. Chandan Yadav, the State in-charge, Saptagiri Shankar Ulka, and co-incharge Vijay Jangid were also in attendance. Additionally, District Presidents, Block Presidents, and State Presidents of Morcha organization were included in the meeting.

The approval of the formation of the State Election Committee marks an important step in the preparation for the 2023 assembly elections in Chhattisgarh.
