CISF and Chhattisgarh Jail Secure Top Honors in Independence Day Parade
TFP Bureau Raipur, August 16, 2023: Raipur, the capital city, witnessed a spectacular parade as part of the Independence Day celebrations, showcasing the unwavering commitment of security forces. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel lauded the exceptional display of discipline and precision during the march past and bestowed well-deserved accolades upon the exemplary officers and jawans.
In the Central Armed Forces category, the spotlight shone on the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) contingent, led by Sub-Inspector Vijay Singh, who clinched the prestigious first position. Not far behind, the Border Security Force contingent, commanded by sub-inspector Hemkaran Pareek, secured the second place. Inspector Vibhu Prasad’s leadership led the Odisha Police contingent to the third position.
The State Armed Forces category witnessed the Chhattisgarh Jail Squad, under the guidance of Assistant Jail Superintendent Mr. Rahul Gangrale, seizing the esteemed first prize for their impeccable march past. The Chhattisgarh Sashastra Mahila Bal contingent, led by sub-inspector Uma Thakur, displayed outstanding cohesion to secure the second position. The city army contingent, adeptly led by sub-inspector Shanti Lakra, clinched the third position, adding to the triumphant atmosphere.
Among the NCC junior contingents, it was the NCC Senior Wing Girls contingent led by Ms. Pranali Rangari that clinched the coveted first position, a testament to their dedication and synchronization. Meanwhile, the NCC Senior Division Boys contingent, under the guidance of Mr. Chetan Pandey, showcased their prowess to claim the second position.
