Massive Governance Expansion: Chhattisgarh Adds New Subdivisions and Tehsils
TFP Bureau Raipur, August 19, 2023: Chhattisgarh’s pursuit of enhanced governance and administration is taking a significant leap as Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel prepares to virtually inaugurate 13 new subdivisions and 18 new tehsils across the state. This strategic initiative, aimed at bringing governmental functions closer to the public, underscores the state’s commitment to transparency and efficiency in its administrative operations. The virtual inauguration is scheduled for August 20, to coincide with ‘Harmony Day,’ which marks the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna late Rajiv Gandhi.
