Eklavya Model Residential School Students Set to Meet President Droupadi Murmu during Educational Excursion
TFP Bureau, New Delhi, August 22, 2023: A delegation of students from Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) across six states is gearing up for a special encounter with President Smt. Droupadi Murmu today. The event is part of an educational tour organized by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs & NESTS, aiming to provide enriching experiences to these young learners.
The EMRS students, hailing from Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Chhattisgarh, will assemble at the Rashtrapati Bhavan for an opportunity to interact with President Murmu. This remarkable initiative seeks to broaden the horizons of these young minds and acquaint them with the country’s highest office.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs & NESTS has orchestrated a conference where the students will engage with Union Minister Shri Arjun Munda, alongside Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Shri Bishweswar Tudu, and Smt. Renuka Singh. This conference, to be held at Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi, will encourage discussions on various topics, including education, career paths, and scholarship opportunities.
On the morning of August 23, 2023, the students will have the privilege of visiting the esteemed Parliament House. This visit aims to offer a firsthand understanding of the workings of the Indian parliamentary system and the roles it plays in the nation’s governance.
