This collaboration, solidified in New Delhi, aims to unite corporate entities and ex-servicemen, creating avenues for meaningful employment for the esteemed veterans of the Defence Services.

The partnership with Genpact, a global leader in professional services, has been forged with the intention of offering substantial career opportunities to ex-servicemen. Maj Gen Sharad Kapur, Director General (Resettlement), expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating, “This partnership would bring in more visibility of our ex-servicemen to the industry and corporates and help in achieving the objectives of providing skilled manpower and giving a dignified second career to our ex-servicemen.”

The MoU represents a pivotal step towards facilitating the integration of ex-servicemen into the civilian workforce, leveraging their skill sets and experiences to contribute effectively in the private sector. By bridging the gap between ex-servicemen seeking gainful employment and corporate enterprises seeking skilled personnel, this collaborative effort strives to achieve a dual purpose of providing deserving veterans with dignified second careers while addressing the human resource needs of corporate entities.
