The ‘Malhar’ photography workshop, spanning two days, centered its creative energies around the theme of ‘Monsoon.’ What ensued was a breathtaking exhibition featuring images that encapsulated the magic of rain, landscapes, climate, and the natural splendor of BALCO’s environs, all masterfully captured by the company’s own employees. Open to all, including the friends and families of BALCO’s dedicated workforce, the exhibition offered a visual feast.
To ensure an engaging family-friendly atmosphere, the event incorporated ‘Kids Corners’ and ‘Selfie Corners,’ infusing fun and interactive elements into the exhibition. A standout attraction was a curated display of cameras, ranging from timeless classics to cutting-edge models. This display allowed attendees to trace the evolution of photography equipment, delving into the rich history of this art form. Furthermore, an AI corner underscored the vital significance of ‘Water’ as a finite resource, conveyed through AI-generated photographs, seamlessly merging technology and environmental awareness.
In the true spirit of photographic celebration, the event featured a series of enlightening workshops led by seasoned photographers. These sessions equipped participants with valuable insights and knowledge. Following these workshops, a Photo Walk provided a unique opportunity for photography enthusiasts to capture the captivating essence of BALCO, guided by the expertise of the workshop trainers, who shared technical aspects of photography.
