Chhattisgarh Congress Committees Conclude Meetings: Election Strategy in Focus

TFP Bureau, Raipur; Sep 22, 2023: The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee recently held meetings for various election committees at Rajiv Bhawan. The discussions, chaired by In-charge Kumari Selja, saw the presence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, State Congress President Deepak Baij, Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singhdev, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant, and several senior leaders.

Six committees convened to discuss different aspects of election preparation: the Protocol Committee, Discipline Committee, Communication Committee, Planning and Strategy Committee, Manifesto Committee, and Election Management Committee. During these meetings, thorough reviews of each committee’s work in preparation for the upcoming assembly elections were conducted, resulting in strategic action plans.

Protocol Committee:

The Protocol Committee, led by Ministers Amarjeet Bhagat, Shivsingh Thakur, Ajay Sahu, Sunil Kukreja, and others, played a pivotal role in managing the event’s protocols and logistics.

Discipline Committee:

Senior MLA Dhanendra Sahu chaired the Discipline Committee, supported by Vice Presidents Pratima Chandrakar and Dhanesh Patila, among others. Their focus was on maintaining discipline within the party during the election process.

Communication Committee:

The Communication Committee, under the guidance of Minister Ravindra Choubey, included Chief Minister’s Advisor Vinod Verma, AICC Secretary Rajesh Tiwari, and others. This committee managed the communication strategies and outreach.

Planning and Strategy Committee:

The Planning and Strategy Committee, led by Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu, Minister Ravindra Choubey, and others, played a key role in formulating strategic plans for the elections.

Election Manifesto Committee:

Minister Mohammad Akbar chaired the Election Manifesto Committee, which also included Minister Ravindra Choubey, Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria, and several other prominent members. This committee focused on crafting the party’s election manifesto.

Election Management Committee:

Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria led the Election Management Committee, with the involvement of Convenor Ram Gopal Aggarwal, Vice Chairman Arun Singhania, and others. This committee was responsible for efficiently managing all aspects of the election process.

These meetings are a clear indication of the Congress party’s commitment to planning and strategizing for the upcoming assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. The presence of key leaders and the formation of dedicated committees underline the party’s determination to contest the elections vigorously.
