Chirmiri Community Health Center’s Hospital Set to Expand with Approval of 94 New Posts
TFP Bureau, Raipur; Sep 26, 2023: The Department of Health and Family Welfare of the State Government has announced 94 new positions across various cadres to facilitate the expansion of the 100-bed hospital at Chirmiri Community Health Center. This development is a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services in the newly formed district of Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur.
Under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister, Mr. T.S. Singh Deo, the department has issued the administrative approval order, paving the way for this crucial expansion.
The Chirmiri Community Health Center is set to undergo a substantial upgrade, and as a part of this initiative, several key positions will be created to bolster the healthcare infrastructure. The approved positions include one post each for Hospital Superintendent, Medical Specialist, Surgical Specialist, and Anesthesiologist. Additionally, there will be one Post Graduate Medical Officer position created for each of the following departments: Pediatrics, Radiology, ENT, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Medicine, and Gynecology.
To ensure the efficient functioning of the facility, eight Medical Officer positions will be established, along with one Dentist and one Medical Records Officer. Nursing staff will see significant additions, with 30 Staff Nurse positions, two Nursing Sisters, and two Audiometricians.
Furthermore, the expansion will require two Radiographers, two Store Keepers, two Pharmacist Grade-2 professionals, two Cold Chain-cum-Vaccine Logistics Assistants, two Assistant Grade-3 employees, and two Dresser Grade-2 personnel. The laboratory department will be enhanced with four Lab Technicians and three Lab Attendants.
Several administrative and support roles will be introduced, including one Accountant, one Ophthalmic Assistant, one Dental Assistant, one ECG Technician, one Driver, one Dresser Grade-1, one Servant, one Washerman, one Watchman, and one Sweeper. Additionally, five positions each for Ward Boys and Maidservants (Aaya) have also been approved.
This comprehensive expansion plan is expected to greatly improve healthcare services at the Chirmiri Community Health Center and contribute to the well-being of the residents in the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district.
