Krishak Sah Shramik Sammelan: MP Kharge and CM Baghel Dedicate Rs. 266.40 Crore Worth of Development Projects in Balodabazar-Bhatapara District
TFP Bureau, Raipur, Sep 28, 2023: MP Mr. Mallikarjun Kharge and Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel jointly presided over the Krishak Sah Shramik Sammelan held in Sumabhatha village of Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. At this event, they dedicated 264 development projects with a total value of Rs. 266.40 crore to the district. Among these projects, 150 initiatives valued at Rs. 176 crore were inaugurated, while the foundation stone was laid for 114 projects worth Rs. 90.35 crore.
The inaugurated development projects encompass a variety of sectors and initiatives, underscoring the government’s commitment to improving infrastructure and services in the region. These include:
Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana: The construction of 41 roads with an investment of Rs. 12.63 crore.
Public Works Department: The construction of 14 buildings and roads valued at Rs. 96.58 crore.
Rural Engineering Service Department: A total of 34 projects, including school buildings, dispensaries, and more, worth Rs. 9.97 crore.
Health Department: Five development projects amounting to Rs. 2 crore.
Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mahasamund: The construction of 15 godowns and office buildings, costing Rs. 3.83 crore.
PWD (Bridge) Raipur: An essential bridge over the Ranidham canal on the Amakhoha-Bhavridi road, with an investment of Rs. 8.91 crore.
Janpad Panchayats: Numerous projects under different Janpad Panchayats, including Balodabazar, Bhatapara, Kasdol, Palari, and Simga, totaling Rs. 5.65 crore.
Balodabazar Forest Division: Notable initiatives like Krishna Kunj and projects related to the Narva Development Program, amounting to Rs. 36.45 crore.
In addition to the inaugurated projects, the event also witnessed the groundbreaking ceremonies (bhumipoojan) for a variety of future initiatives. These included:
Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana: The construction of 14 roads, totaling Rs. 7.67 crore.
Public Works Department: The commencement of 21 projects, encompassing both buildings and roads, with an investment of Rs. 31.34 crore.
Rural Engineering Service Department: A total of 19 development works, valued at Rs. 5.37 crore.
PHE Department: Five projects related to the Jal Jeevan Mission, amounting to Rs. 7.64 crore.
Water Resources Department: Two development initiatives focused on canal lining and renovation, with a total investment of Rs. 5.31 crore.
Health Department: Four projects worth Rs. 1.1 crore.
Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mahasamund: The construction work for eight buildings.
Janpad Panchayats: Future initiatives under various Janpad Panchayats, including Balodabazar, Bhatapara, Kasdol, Palari, and Simga, totaling Rs. 3.53 crore.
Municipal Councils: Four development works under the Municipal Council Balodabazar and another four under the Municipal Council Bhatapara, amounting to Rs. 2.1 crore.
This significant dedication of projects reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the infrastructure and overall development of the Balodabazar-Bhatapara district. Through these initiatives, they aim to improve the lives of residents and further boost the region’s progress.
