TFP Bureau,Raipur; Sep 29, 2023: The Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee has revealed plans to organize a comprehensive “Congress Bharosa Yatra” on October 2, 2023. This one-day assembly-level event coincides with the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi. The primary aim of this yatra is to raise awareness among the general public across all 90 assembly constituencies in the state about the alleged deception carried out by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in Chhattisgarh over the past 15 years.
The Congress Bharosa Yatra will serve as a platform to inform citizens about the state government’s public welfare initiatives while highlighting the perceived misdeeds during the BJP’s tenure in Chhattisgarh. The program will encompass visits to as many villages as possible across the state, reaching out to the local population and fostering political awareness. Street meetings will be held throughout the yatra, culminating in a general meeting to conclude the event.
Prominent leaders from the Chhattisgarh Pradesh Congress Committee will lead the yatra at the Lok Sabha constituency level, ensuring widespread coverage and engagement. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will lead the yatra in Rajnandgaon, while Deputy Chief Minister T.S. Singhdev will oversee activities in Surguja and Raigarh. State Congress President Deepak Baij will take charge in Bastar and Kanker, and Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu will lead the efforts in Durg and Bilaspur. Additionally, Assembly Speaker Dr. Charandas Mahant will spearhead activities in Korba and Janjgir, while Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahria will guide initiatives in the Raipur and Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituencies.
The “Congress Bharosa Yatra” is a significant initiative aimed at connecting with the public, addressing their concerns, and highlighting the party’s stance on the state’s development and governance. By organizing this event on Gandhi Jayanti, the Congress party seeks to invoke the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi and his commitment to truth and justice.
