Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officers Association Delegation Meets Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel
TFP Bureau, Raipur, Sep 30, 2023: A delegation from the Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officers Association extended their gratitude to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for addressing their demands regarding the restructuring of the Public Relations Department and other related matters during a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence office.
During the meeting, Mr. Balmukund Tamboli, President of the Association and a Joint Director in the department, conveyed his appreciation for the significant reforms implemented in the Public Relations Department of Chhattisgarh. He noted that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Baghel, the department underwent a comprehensive overhaul after nearly 22 years since the formation of the state. This restructuring resulted in the establishment of three Additional Directors, three Joint Directors, ten Deputy Directors, and several other positions, offering well-deserved promotions to long-serving officers. Mr. Tamboli emphasized that these structural changes would substantially enhance the department’s operational efficiency. On behalf of the association, he thanked the Chief Minister for his instrumental role in bringing about these transformations. Furthermore, he highlighted that the long-standing demand for communication equipment within the department was nearly fulfilled.
The delegation also commended Chief Minister Baghel for reinstating the Old Pension Scheme, a decision that brought immense joy to Public Relations Department officers. Additionally, the removal of the 70-80-90 percent stipend system significantly benefited 16 newly appointed officers, a move highly appreciated by the association’s representatives. Furthermore, they expressed their gratitude for the Chief Minister’s decision to increase DA and HRA, which proved advantageous to all department officers and employees.
Mr. Tamboli emphasized that the recruitment of Class III and IV positions within the department would bolster its workforce, enabling officers to carry out their duties more effectively. Chief Minister Baghel, during the meeting, encouraged Public Relations Department officers and employees to work diligently and raise awareness about government welfare schemes.

Dariyo and Mr. Sanjeev Tiwari, Joint Directors Mrs. Harsha Pauranik, Mr. Pankaj Gupta, and Mr. Pawan Gupta, Deputy Directors Mr. Premlal Patel, Mr. Saurabh Sharma, and Mr. Nitin Sharma, Assistant Directors Mrs. Daneshwari Sambhakar and Mr. Sachin Sharma, Assistant Information Officer Mr. Bhavani Singh Thakur, among other officers.
