Chhattisgarh Assembly Election-2023: Swift Resolution of C-Vigil Complaints
TFP Bureau, Raipur, Nov 11, 2023: In the ongoing Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023, the Election Commission of India’s C-Vigil App has become a rapid tool for addressing citizens’ complaints. Out of the 3891 complaints received through C-Vigil in the state, 3218 have already been resolved, showcasing a quick response to alleged violations of the code of conduct.
Common citizens utilize C-Vigil to report instances of code of conduct breaches, ensuring a swift and effective response. A dedicated control room, monitored by Chief Electoral Officer Shri Reena Babasaheb Kangale, manages the daily actions taken on these complaints.
To enhance citizen participation, the C-Vigil application allows individuals to report violations through live photographs, videos, and audio clips. Complaints can be submitted anonymously or by registering on the app. The resolution process aims to complete actions within 100 minutes, keeping complainants informed of the outcomes.
The C-VIGIL app empowers citizens to report illegal promotional activities promptly, fostering a quick and efficient reporting, action, and monitoring system. It provides citizens with a user-friendly platform to engage with District Control Rooms, Returning Officers, and Field Verification Units, contributing to the electoral integrity of the ongoing assembly elections.
