Key Details about the Second Phase
Covering 70 assembly constituencies across Raipur, Bilaspur, Durg, and Surguja divisions, the second phase of the Assembly Elections 2023 is crucial for the state. On the polling day, a total of 1 crore 63 lakh 14 thousand 479 eligible voters will have the opportunity to cast their votes. This includes 81 lakh 41 thousand 624 male voters, 81 lakh 72 thousand 171 female voters, and 684 voters of the third gender.
Preparations and Alternative Documents for Voters
Emphasizing inclusivity, the Election Commission underscores the acceptance of 12 alternative photo documents for identification, ensuring a smooth voting process.
