Election Commission Approves 4% Dearness Allowance/Relief for Chhattisgarh State Government Employees and Pensioners
TFP Bureau, New Delhi, Nov 22, 2023: In response to a letter from the Chief Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh dated November 10, 2023, the Election Commission of India has granted permission for a 4% increase in dearness allowance/relief to state government employees and pensioners.
The communication, bearing reference No. 437/6/Ex.R-1/Chhattisgarh-Vishesh/2023 and dated November 22, 2023, indicates that the Commission is actively considering the proposal put forth in the aforementioned letter.
Ritesh Singh, Under Secretary at the Election Commission Secretariat, conveyed the Commission’s decision in a directive addressed to the Chief Electoral Officer in Raipur. This development signifies a positive step towards enhancing financial benefits for state government employees and pensioners in Chhattisgarh.
