The Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha in Kartik month commences at 11:03 pm on November 22nd and concludes at 9:01 pm on November 23rd. The opportune time for the night puja on Ekadashi date spans from 5:25 pm to 8:46 pm, presenting a favorable window for conducting the Tulsi marriage.
Worship Method for Tulsi Vivah
1. Begin by spreading a seat on a clean wooden platform for Tulsi Vivah.
2. Adorn the pot with ocher and place Tulsi ji on the pedestal.
3. On a second platform, seat Shaligram with due reverence.
4. Decorate the pavilion with sugarcane on both posts.
5. Fill a Kalash with water, add five or seven mango leaves, and position it at the place of worship.
6. Illuminate a ghee lamp in front of Shaligram and Tulsi, applying tilak with roli or kumkum.
7. Present a red-colored chunari to Tulsi, embellishing her with bangles, bindi, etc.
8. Carefully hold Shaligram with the post and circumambulate Tulsi seven times.
9. Conclude the puja by performing aarti of Tulsi and Shaligram, expressing prayers for happiness and good fortune.
10. Distribute Prasad among all present.
