TFP Bureau, Raipur, Dec 4, 2023: Following the release of election results, Chairman of the State Congress Communication Department, Sushil Anand Shukla, expressed the party’s acknowledgment of the mandate. Shukla noted that the election outcomes fell short of their expectations, attributing the result to the challenge of conveying their message effectively. He acknowledged that their truth seemed overshadowed by the misinformation propagated by the BJP.
Despite the disappointment, Shukla emphasized that the Congress remains undeterred and will persist in its advocacy for public concerns. The party remains committed to championing the welfare of the people in Chhattisgarh and ensuring that the rights of marginalized sections are upheld, even from the opposition.
Reflecting on their tenure from 2018 to 2023, Shukla mentioned that the Congress had earnestly served the public, focusing on the interests of farmers, laborers, youth, scheduled castes, and tribes. While the election results indicate a different direction, Shukla extended congratulations to the BJP for its succes and expressed the hope that they would govern in accordance with the people’s mandate, delivering on promises made to various sections of society.
