TFP Bureau, Raipur; Dec 13, 2023: In a historic moment for Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai marked the commencement of his term by performing a traditional pooja-archana at Mahanadi Bhavan on Wednesday.
This distinctive ceremony, a first in Chhattisgarh’s history, emphasized Mr. Sai’s deep religious inclination. Prior to the formal assumption of office, the Chief Minister conducted worship rituals not only at Mahanadi Bhavan but also at his residence. In the morning, he offered prayers at the Lord Jagannath Temple.
Deputy Chief Ministers Mr. Arun Sao and Mr. Vijay Sharma graced the occasion, joining Chief Minister Mr. Sai in this auspicious ceremony.
The welcoming committee, comprising Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahoo, and Director General of Police Mr. Ashok Juneja, extended warm greetings to the Chief Minister.
Following the traditional rituals, Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai convened introductory meetings with senior officials from various ministries in his office chamber. This ceremonial start to his tenure reflects a unique blend of tradition and governance for the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh.
