TFP Bureau, Raipur, Dec 15, 2023: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the “Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra” on December 16 at 4 pm, a groundbreaking initiative aimed at bringing Central Government schemes directly to the masses. The Prime Minister will virtually join programs under the Yatra across the country, engaging in discussions with beneficiaries. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will participate in the program virtually from Raipur at 3 pm, connecting with districts to facilitate a dialogue regarding the yatra.
The Yatra will establish direct connections between 4 urban areas and 70 rural locations in Chhattisgarh through video conferencing. Camps organized at these venues will provide information about and benefits of Central Government schemes. Prime Minister Shri Modi’s message and discussions with beneficiaries will be broadcasted in these camps.
The initiative aims to disseminate information about flagship schemes through IEC mobile vans, displaying messages, scheme-related movies, and distributing pamphlets and booklets. Application processes for scheme benefits, along with the distribution of benefits, will be streamlined, complemented by quizzes and cultural programs to enhance awareness.
Diverse Programs and Camps for Holistic Impact
The Yatra will feature programs like ‘Meri Kahani-Meri Jubani’ to share personal success stories, ‘Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke,’ and ‘Swachhata Geet.’ Information on natural farming and soil health cards will also be part of the agenda.
Health fairs and stalls for schemes like Ujjwala, Aadhaar card updating, and others will be set up under ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra.’ These stalls aim to provide citizens with information and benefits related to various schemes.
Comprehensive Coverage of Rural and Urban Schemes
The Yatra will encompass schemes in both rural and urban areas, covering initiatives such as Ayushman Bharat, PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, PM Ujjwala Yojana, PM Kisan Samman Yojana, and more.
Monitoring of the Yatra will be conducted through a web portal, ensuring transparency and accountability. Information on travel-related material, beneficiary benefits, and applications received at the camps will be available through this portal.
Strategic Locations for Outreach
In Chhattisgarh, the Yatra will be organized in urban areas including Raipur, Bilaspur, Korba, and Durg. Additionally, 70 rural locations across various districts have been selected for the program, extending its reach to empower and connect with citizens at the grassroots level.
